Choose probe regions and confirmation
Select where probes should check the monitor and set how many selected regions must confirm a failure in the saved monitor configuration.
Available regions
- US East (Ashburn, Virginia)
- US West (San Jose)
- Europe (Stockholm)
- Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
Select regions
- Open the region selector in the type-specific monitor form.
- Choose one or more regions from the four available locations.
- Use locations that represent the geography your users depend on.
Set confirmation regions
The default confirmation count is 2. The saved value cannot be lower than 1 or higher than the number of selected regions. For example, a monitor using four regions can expose confidence as 2/4 regions - 50% when two regions confirm the same result.
