Use these definitions when you read monitor results, regional evidence, alerts, and incident timelines.

Uptime percentage

The percentage of recorded checks that succeeded during a reporting period. It describes observed availability, not a guarantee for future checks.

Response time

The elapsed time between a probe sending a request and receiving the monitor result, measured in milliseconds.

Region confidence

The number of configured probe regions that confirmed a failure divided by the total configured regions. For example, 2/4 regions is 50% confidence.

Grace period

A short delay before a failing check is treated as an incident or alert, allowing a transient blip to clear.

Incident status

The lifecycle state of a confirmed failure: open while the failure is active, acknowledged after a responder takes ownership, and resolved after recovery.

SSL expiry window

The advance-warning period before an SSL certificate expires. SSL validation is currently configured as part of an HTTP/HTTPS monitor.
